Ahn Taekwondo Columbus

One of the newest Olympic sports, and one of the oldest martial arts, Taekwondo has received a great deal of attention recently.  With origins over 2000 years ago in ancient Korea, Taekwondo has evolved into a system for total mind and body fitness. Whether the goal is self-defense, physical fitness, stress management, or enjoying another sport, taekwondo offers this and much, much more!  After enrolling in our taekwondo program, the student will gain self-confidence, better agility and coordination, and increased flexibility, while learning aspects of the Korean culture.

Ahn Taekwondo Columbus (ATC) is a member of the United Taekwondo Association, founded and directed by 9th Dan Grandmaster Kyongwon Ahn of Cincinnati.  Under Grandmaster Ahn's instruction, our instructors are certified by the United States Taekwondo Won,  to teach Taekwondo--two of the very few in the country with this recognition, and the only two in central Ohio with this privilege!  We are proud and grateful to have Grandmaster Ahn's support!

ATC is a family-oriented school, where students from ages 5 and up train and work towards their individual goals together.  Classes are available for everyone’s needs: from the youngest members in the preschool (Lil' Dragons) classes, to the adults in the group class.  Family classes are held so that parents and their children can train at the same time, and help each other reach their goals! Private instruction can be scheduled with any black belt for those students seeking more intense training. Family discounts are available!
